How ArtString Works

The collections being displayed on ArtString are sourced either from their API or, in the case of the National Gallery, via data extraction from their website.

That means the museums are the ones responsible for having their digital directory reflect their current collections on display.

Not all museums have the needed structure to be added to ArtString, hopefully with time more and more will show up.
